Pipetowanie, czyli przenoszenie, często bardzo małych, objętości odczynników jest podstawową techniką w laboratorium biochemicznym. O ile ograniczona liczba próbek nie jest problemem, to już rozpipetowanie płytki zawierającej 384 studzienki może przyprawić o ból głowy i kciuka.
