Przejrzałem wszystkie 1516 komentarzy przy filmie youtube Animowana Historia Polski Bagińskiego. Patrz poprzednia notka 37. Historia Polski vs historia Łotwy. W końcu film ma już 420.986 wyświetleń od 10 sierpnia 2009, a wśród widzów powinni być też obcokrajowcy. Lubię czytać obcokrajowców, bo często zawierają świeże odmienne od mojego spojrzenie na polską rzeczywistość.
I tak, dowiedziałem się, że film się bardzo podoba. Niektórym tak bardzo, że chcieli kupić grę, którego trailerem niby miał być ten film. Niektórzy chcieli poznać autora muzyki.
Dowiedziałem się, że Szwedzi na lekcjach historii uczą się o tym, że Polska zaatakowała Szwecję, by zostać potem przez Szwedów splądrowana, czego niestety nie ma w filmie. Najbardziej przejmująca scena dla obcokrajowców - Polska rodzielana na trzy części i życie pod zaborami.
Niektórzy szukali Jana Pawła II - czyli film spełnił swoje cele, zaintrygowania historią Polski, naszą kulturą.
Zabawny komentarz z Niemiec: przybędziemy do Polski ponownie, lecz tym razem na Euro 2012 z piwem.
Niestety wszelkie niecenzuralne dyskusje były ucinane, bo to oficjalna strona PARP. Za to nie zabrakło spięć: 22 letni Chorwat napisał, że biedna Polska została przedstawiona perfekcyjnie - zawsze w defensywie, a nie jest pokazana choćby okupacja Kremla przez Polaków. Polak odpisał po angielsku, że biedni Rosjanie nigdy nie zwyciężyli Polski w walce jeden na jednego - zawsze musieli być z kimś.
Jako podsumowanie tej "mocarstwowej" atmosfery panującej w komentarzach wrzucę tutaj cytat 18-letniej L2Dementia: Polacy są najbardziej inteligentnym narodem ze wszystkich, z którymi spotkali się Niemcy podczas tej wojny w Europie... Jednakże w moim przekonaniu, opisując nasze wady i zalety, w samo sedno trafił Norman Davies: Polacy są przede wszystkim patriotami. Wiele razy dowodzili, że są gotowi umierać za ojczyznę; tylko nieliczni są jednak gotowi dla niej pracować.

It's hard to tell what this movie is about if you dont know much about the Polish history. I only knew what happened from 1700. The video never mentioned when polish forces attacked Sweden and when Swedes plundered Poland, and thats the only pre 1700 history I know.
Awesome ending with the EU stuff. I hope European cooperation will make Europe a strong economical and military force to compete with China Russia and USA.

One of the most awesome collection of events of Polish history. I would suggest titles under the dates as the scenes change. ( ie who is the king youre showing in 1377?? some people may not know). This should be made into a kid friendly - full feature film. Great Job. Proud to be Polish.

As an American of Polish roots, I found this video confusing. Americans are not taught Polish History in depth, if at all. To watch a silent, wordless presentation taught me nothing. I watched it twice trying to follow the movements on the maps, and it was still of no help.
Since I began doing the Genealogy of my ancestors, I've learn a little (far too little) of Polish history and I do want to know more.. But this film was of no help to me and Im' sure of no help to non-Poles.
