Obama Egyptian Policy Shows Disrespect for Democracy

Liberałowie Liberałowie Polityka Obserwuj notkę 1

Obama's international policy with respect to Egypt, and Middle East, is shocking to Europeans supporting democratic change. US administration is supporting a dicatorship in this most important African country. It is blocking prodemocratic changes.

We well remember US-organised coup d'état that abolished democracy in Iran. Of course, the policy of democrativccally elected authorities contradicted with businesses of foreign corporations, that profited enormously from its natural ressources. So the US abolished the democracy.

Exactly this situation is now the case of Egypt. US are supporting 30 years of emergency state, switched-off Internet and social media. Mr. Obama was surpressing democracy. No wonder people turn to terrorism when they fight for their rights.

Such policy only paves way for radicals to take over power. Because only the radicalised people can overcome such egoistic superpower like the US. Amercians, seem to take care only of their own businesses. Maybe You should stop to mix into the world policy. There might be new superpowers, that will give support to civil liberties, democratic election procedures, freedom of assembly and protest.

There should be new elections announced in Egypt. Elections supervised by international forces. It is a shock to the international community that the United States are not reacting when it comes to civil liberties and democracy. People treat representatives of the US as dangerous spies, expect coup d'états and infiltration of domestic politics by people working on behalf of the US. These people do not represent the interests of local population, as such would be contradictory to US interests.

Obama's policy is only a proove that the world needs a new superpower, that would introduce progres to the world. It seems as someone was introducing only more corrupted form of governments, that in a racist way misrespected local population.
