Prokuratura domaga się kary śmierci przeciw Dylann Roof, który strzelał w kościele w Charleston (South Carolina) i zabił 9 ludzi.
Roof jest oskarżony o zabicie wiernych w kościele metodystów w czerwcu 2015, miał broń kalibru .45 i 9 magazynków z amunicją.
Postanowił zabić Murzynów, a jego celem było podżeganie do rasizmu w całej Ameryce.
Federalny trybunał w South Carolina oskarżył go o 33 federalne przestępstwa nienawiści i o strzelanie. Czekają go też oskarżenia stanowe
