Purpose
The purpose of the student mentoring program is to establish a formal link between seasoned ISASI members and university/college students interested in a career in aviation safety.
Goal
The goal of the student mentoring program is to assist the next generation of aviation safety professionals achieve their goals.
Why Become a Mentor
As a current aviation safety professional and member of ISASI, you hold a wealth of knowledge and experience. In order to ensure the future health of our discipline, this knowledge must be passed along to the next generation. Mentoring a student provides a wonderful avenue to accomplish this important mission. Join the 20 mentors, already positively impacting college/university students.
Mentor Expectations
A commitment to communicate with your student on an agreed-upon basis, be a good listener, and share your experiences/knowledge. This can be accomplished by telephone, email, or in person.
