Witam entuzjastw lotnictwa - a także "badaczy wiadomej katastrofy/zamachu".

Poniżej wklejony tekst wydaje mi się w kontekscie niektórych wydarzen i opinii dość smakowity. Szczególnie fragmenty o stolarzu na wieży kontrolnej....

 Narrative:

American Airlines flight 1572, was substantially damaged when it impacted trees while on approach to runway 15 at Bradley International Airport. The airplane also impacted an instrument landing system antenna as it landed short of the runway on grassy, even terrain.

PROBABLE CAUSE: "The flightcrew’s failure to maintain the required minimum descent altitude until the required visual references identifiable with the runway were in sight.Contributing factors were the failure of the BDL approach controller to furnish the flightcrew with a current altimeter setting, and the flightcrew’s failure to ask for a more current setting."

Sceptyczny racjonalista, ani dogmatyczny liberał ani tym bardziej jego przeciwieństwo, bardziej pozytywista niż romantyk, uzależniony od książek - wielbiciel tak Kafki jak Haszka, tak Ludluma jak i Prousta, tak Clancy'ego jak Lema. Fan żeglarstwa, nart, rajdów samochodowych, kiedyś czynny zawodnik - kolarz. Miłośnik Mazur i Puszczy Białowieskiej. Czuje głęboką niechęć do fanatyzmów i fundamentalizmów w każdej postaci. Może trochę kosmopolita - a już z całą pewnością daleki od nacjonalizmów każdego koloru. ABSOLUTNIE "GORSZY SORT" jak to wyraża "klasyk".
